2017 Year in Review
In 1994 we began publishing Arid Zone Times as a hard copy mailed newsletter to landscape professionals. Arid Zone Times evolved into Arid Zone Tree-mail in 2013 as an online version of our newsletter. From the beginning we have been committed to providing timely, accurate and researched information to our readers about the care, maintenance and design of desert adapted landscapes. We have relied on peer reviewed research journals, respected horticultural professionals and academics, regional botanical gardens and our field experience gained through our nearly 35 years of growing desert trees. Our newsletter topics have come from issues facing the landscape industry, new innovations and developments in horticulture and arboriculture and suggestions from our readers.
This is our final issue for 2017 (Volume 13) of Arid Zone Tree-Mail/Arid Zone Times. We thought this would be an excellent opportunity to recap the articles from this past year and reacquaint you with articles you might have missed. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions and contributions and continuing to support our publication.
